Tacos San Miguel Owner Miguel Preciado Seasoned Mexican food chef Miguel Preciado introduced Southwest Florida to the unique culture and culinary flavors of his native San Miguel el Alto, Mexico in 2007. That’s when he opened his Tacos San Miguel food trailer on Cape Coral. Since then, the area has savored the taste of Miguel’s authentically prepared tacos so much that they’re coined the “Best Tacos in Southwest Florida.” The food trailer attracted the restaurant’s large following, which began with detouring Pine Island Road or Del Prado Boulevard motorists eager to try the food stand. To meet the growing demands of his following, Miguel opened the Tacos San Miguel II Mexican restaurant in December 2017 at the Del Prado Mall plaza on Cape Coral. That new venture allowed him to expand his menu with beloved family recipes that he learned to cook as a child, alongside his parents and aunt. He’s added new menu items since the restaurant opened.
