Seasoned Tacos San Miguel II restaurant chef, Miguel Preciado, serves up heritage in his special tastes of Mexico. He introduced Southwest Florida to the unique culinary flavors of his native San Miguel el Alto, Mexico in 2007. That’s when he opened his food trailer on Cape Coral. Since then, the area has savored Miguel’s authentically prepared tacos so much that they’re coined the “Best Tacos in Southwest Florida.” The food trailer attracted a large following to its intersecting Pine Island Road and Del Prado Boulevard location. Its irresistible aroma of street tacos diverted passersby who continually grew as fans of the Tacos San Miguel taste. Eventually, Miguel opened Tacos San Miguel II Mexican restaurant in December 2017 to satisfy the spillover of food trailer fans. The restaurant is in the northwest corner of the Del Prado Mall shopping center on Del Prado Boulevard (Cape Coral). It has an expanded menu of beloved family recipes that Miguel learned to cook as a child, alongside his parents and aunt. He has added new menu items since the restaurant’s debut, including his signature San Miguel Plate.

Wholeheartedly, Miguel pours love for his Mexican heritage, family and food into every one of his delicious dishes. The alluring smell of grilled meat and sautéed onions that wafts from the restaurant’s kitchen keeps diners anticipating a bite of his gourmet cooking.
